New! SPRY Montrose Diner Days

Are you SPRY?  The Montrose Center’s Seniors Preparing for Rainbow Years (SPRY) program was established to enhance the lives of LGBT persons age 60 and older.

SPRY services include:

  • outreach
  • men’s and women’s peer support groups
  • professional counseling
  • case management
  • social and recreational activities
  • health and wellness education
  • and the Montrose Diner Days drop-in center and congregate lunch program.

To learn more about SPRY or schedule an intake for services, please call 713-529-0037, ext. 378.  Nearly all SPRY services are available free-of-charge.  You do not have to complete an intake to participate in the Montrose Diner Days lunch program if you are age 60+ or a partner/caregiver. Socials are held in room 101, 401 Branard Street, 1st floor. There is no obligation of any kind to participate. Come as you are and enjoy!

Provider Training

The SPRY program also provides training, consultation and advocacy among senior care providers to the elder population to better enable them to serve the needs of LGBT seniors. For more information, please call 713-529-0037 ext. 378.
