Until There's A Cure

CEU Training at Montrose Counseling Center

Beginning September 1, 2004 the fee is $10 per hour if pre-paid and an additional $10 if paid on the day of the training. For example, a three-hour workshop is $30 pre-paid, $40 on the day of the training. Click here for the CEU Registration form.

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), Hepatitis and Tuberculosis

Information about STIs: bacterial, viral, and protozoan – common symptoms, safer-sex practices, treatment options, and general facts. Information about chemical and viral hepatitis – acute and chronic; risk, prevention, symptoms, treatment methods, and vaccination.

Cultural Diversity/Sensitivity

The variables that influence cultural identity, including: race, ethnicity, gender, culture, ability, religion, age, HIV status, body type, sexual orientation and gender identity, and the issues that affect professionals’ interactions with diverse populations as clients.

HIV/AIDS

Detailed information concerning HIV/AIDS, the immune system and the human body; transmission, prevention, testing, current trends in treatment, and statistics.
