Montrose Counseling Center, Inc. has been providing culturally affirming, quality and affordable outpatient mental health, substance abuse treatment, case management and education services for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities for the past 30 years. MCC has diverse programs which cover issues relating to HIV/AIDS, chemical dependency, sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, hate crimes, sexual identity, depression, anxiety, adolescence, relationships, coming out and general mental health.

- Transferable Sick Leave - employees with accumulated leave may transfer up to 24 hours per month to another employee who has exhausted all of their leave. The maximum that can be received in one fiscal year is 40 hours
- Mental Health/Personal Day - employees may take 1 day of sick leave per month, if available
- Monthly staff support group facilitated by outside therapist
With a staff of more than 50 people with 27 being licensed counselors, MCC is able to provide many services to support counselors in their work with clients. These support services include:
- continuing professional education opportunities through monthly inservices and outside workshops and conferences; research and publication opportunities
- clinical supervision and consultation through an immediate supervisor, a Clinical Advisory Committee, peer lead case staffings
- insurance, Medicaid and Medicare credentialing and claims processing services
