MISSION:
Montrose Counseling Center provides culturally affirming, quality and affordable services primarily to Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender individuals in the following areas:
- mental health
- anti-violence: prevention, training and support
- HIV/AIDS
- substance abuse: prevention and treatment
- case management and discharge planning
- health education and risk reduction
- youth services
VISION:
Montrose Counseling Center's vision is to:
- provide tools, opportunities
and a safe environment for individuals to discover and develop strengths and
capacities to enjoy healthier and more fulfilling lives;
- provide a foundation
of leadership and experience in the GLBT communities for positive change;
and
- challenge and influence society's beliefs and attitudes about and behaviors toward the GLBT communities to create unity and equality.
