areas:
ANSWERING PHONES for the Switchboard: Gay
& Lesbian Switchboard Houston
Volunteer Job Descriptions: Volunteers assist callers requesting help
or information on: Referrals to GLBT Organizations & GLBT Friendly Businesses,
Coming Out Issues, Suicide Prevention, Sexual Assault, Intimate Partner Violence,
Hate Crimes, HIV Counseling/Case Management, Chemical Dependency Treatment,
General Therapy Referrals and others.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
I. VOLUNTEER YOUTH FACILITATOR: HATCH
Volunteer Job Descriptions: Volunteers assist HATCH Youth Services
Worker with administration of HATCH bi-weekly youth program. Co-Facilitate
small youth groups. Supervise and mentor youth.
- You must be at least 25 years old.
